Sebastian is a character from Disney's animated movie "The Little Mermaid". He is a red Jamaican crab who serves as the loyal advisor to King Triton, the ruler of the sea. In the movie, Sebastian is depicted as musical, compassionate, and protective of Ariel, the protagonist of the film. While Sebastian is not based on a specific species of crab, his design is loosely inspired by the appearance of a red rock crab or a Sally Lightfoot crab.
